Sidney Wagner McClinton is a Designer, Stylist and Artist. Along with selling her original creations, vintage and handmade finds, she works with individuals to style unique spaces as well as other designers and brands to bring their client’s homes and products to life.

 
 
 

FLATLAY STYLING

While marketing her personal businesses, Sidney developed a passion for styling and shooting flatlays (images shot directly from above of an array of carefully arranged objects). Flatlay design has become an increasingly popular marketing tool, especially throughout social media channels. 

Using flatlay design in your social media campaign boasts numerous benefits. It is a way to showcase your company’s product(s) in a more creative and visually appealing manner, perhaps even introducing a new collection or collaboration. Additionally, each flatlay allows your to tag multiple products with shoppable links per image. If your business is more service oriented, you can showcase the product(s) of the vendors you use and tag those vendors in the photo. These direct tags can lead to increased growth and engagement for your social media feed and ultimately enhance your business.

PHOTO STYLING

As a Photo Stylist, Sidney engages in editorial projects, often working with other designers to style their projects for photo shoots. Her work has been featured in top design publications and digital magazines. In addition to editorial content, Sidney also applies her styling skills to commercial projects where she enhances sets or showrooms in order to showcase a client’s product(s). She will source furniture, props or scout set locations and oftentimes bring items from her personal inventory in order to achieve the desired image for the overall story. Sidney is very passionate about this type of storytelling and enjoys the collaborative process of working with designers, photographers and art directors in order to bring a project to life. 

Sidney’s fees vary based on each shoot (hourly, half-day or daily and may included prep-time/post-time and shopping for props). Please inquire BEFORE your photo shoot so we can discuss all the details including shoot budget, shotlist, prop list, timeframe, etc.
