Sidney Wagner McClinton is a Freelance Interior Stylist and Artist. Along with selling her original artwork and handmade creations, she works with individuals to style unique spaces as well as other designers and brands to bring their client’s homes and products to life. 

 
 

INTERIOR  STYLING 

Sidney specializes in residential projects, utilizing her styling skills to help you finish decorating your home (or refresh your current space), all while maintaining your personal style! Interior Styling is different than Interior Design in that it is not full-service, custom design. It is a decorating service that allows Sidney to simply help you add the last layer of personality to your space with texture (rugs, pillows, throws), accessories (vases, trays, books) art (paintings, sculpture) and flora (potted trees, plants, cut leaves). 

During the Interior Styling consultation, you will walk Sidney through your space providing all the appropriate information. She will take notes, measurements, photos, etc. while providing some immediate suggestions. All of this information will be used to put together a personalized Design Plan that will help you complete the space just as Sidney would! Interior Styling can include entire rooms or specific spaces such as built-in shelving. 

  • Interior Styling is not Interior Design

  • In-person consultations

  • Post consultation you will receive a personalized Styling Plan

  • Styling Plan includes: Visual Mood Board, Detailed Styling Instructions and a Shopping List with direct links to purchase suggested items 

 

VIRTUAL STYLING

Virtual Styling is similar to Interior Styling except it is all done well, you got it, virtually! 

Virtual Styling is ideal for clients who are on a limited budget and/or a tight deadline and since it is entirely interactive, this service allows Sidney to work with clients all over the nation. Sidney sources all items for your home (both vintage and new pieces) online so that you can shop directly (and on your own timeline) via the provided Shopping List while having everything shipped right to your doorstep! With Sidney’s detailed Styling Instructions, you will be able to style the space just as she would.

FLATLAY STYLING

While marketing her personal businesses, Sidney developed a passion for styling and shooting flatlays (images shot directly from above of an array of carefully arranged objects). Flatlay design has become an increasingly popular marketing tool, especially throughout social media channels. 

Using flatlay design in your social media campaign boasts numerous benefits. It is a way to showcase your company’s product(s) in a more creative and visually appealing manner, perhaps even introducing a new collection or collaboration. Additionally, each flatlay allows your to tag multiple products per images with direct shoppable links. If your business is more service oriented, you can feature the product(s) of vendors you use and tag those vendors in the photo. These direct tags can lead to increased growth and engagement for your social media feed and ultimately enhance your business. 

Sidney will work with your business/brand to develop a flatlay design campaign that best suits your needs and budget.

PHOTO STYLING

As a Photo Stylist, Sidney engages in editorial projects, often working with other designers to style their projects for photo shoots. Her work has been featured in top interiors publications and digital magazines. In addition to editorial content, Sidney also applies her styling skills to commercial projects where she enhances sets or showrooms in order to showcase a client’s product(s). She will source furniture and props or scout set locations and oftentimes bring items from her personal inventory in order to achieve the desired image for the overall story. Sidney is very passionate about this type of storytelling and enjoys the collaborative process of working with designers, photographers, and art directors in order to bring a project to life.
